City of Parramatta — clean-up & illegal dumping
Residents who receive a City of Parramatta domestic waste service can use kerbside bulky waste clean-ups. Depending on your address, collections are either pre-booked (up to four times per calendar year) or at scheduled times. Confirm which applies via the contractor portal or by phone.
Official clean-up services Illegal dumping
Booking (pre-booked areas)
- Book online via Council’s contractor portal, or call Veolia on 1300 580 811.
- Next available day may be up to about four weeks away — book early if you are moving.
- Multi-unit dwellings: call Veolia to check eligibility.
- Print/attach the Booked Clean Up sign so the pile is clearly marked.
- Cancel at least two business days before the booked date (Veolia / online).
Presentation rules
- Less than two cubic metres.
- Stacked neatly, clear of roads and footpaths.
- Able to be safely lifted by two people.
- Placed out only the night before / the day before your booked date — not earlier. Council materials use both phrasings: the illegal-dumping page and waste calendar/brochure say night before; the clean-up “how to present” section also says day before. Putting items out earlier than allowed (or without a booking) is treated as illegal dumping.
