City of Sydney — off-leash dog parks
The City of Sydney publishes a list of off-leash parks. Dogs are welcome in many parks but are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts and enclosed sports ovals. Some areas are on-leash only — check signs at the gate.
Official City of Sydney dog parks
Playgrounds: keep dogs out. The City states you risk a $330 fine
if your dog is in a playground. Bag it, bin it: rangers can fine up to
$275 for not picking up (amounts as published on the City page — confirm current figures).
